This is a grenache shiraz mataro blend. Grenache and mataro are from Frankland and the shiraz from Montague. It's soft and supple with minimal oak influence. They were fermented separately and matured in French for eight months. The new French gives it just a little lift. Has some nice spice with a little cinnamon and subtle black pepper. The acid line is very good and focusses it to a very long finish. Supple with a thread of chalky ironstone tannin.
